I didn't mean to start a little home based craft business just at the moment - my youngest child is playgrouping this year, Nursery in September, and I think in my mind I anticipated that as he starts reception I would start looking for something to do with all my new-found spare time... But things never go quite to our own plans, and completely by accident, after making a present for a friend, here I am with a blog of my own, and a new website in the making! Special Gifts From The Heart just happened! And I am really excited about the next few months and the start of this new adventure.

At Special Gifts From the Heart I take tiny two-and-a-half centimetre squares of felted fabric and embelish them - appliques, embroidery, beading, felting, using anything that fits and inspires me! Alone they are small and fairly unassuming, but, as with most things, they come together and make something beautiful. SPECIAL GIFTS, BESPOKE and HANDCRAFTED - they can be designed to suit any occasion - births, anniversaries, weddings, birthdays... 'Titchystitchys' can be adapted and personalised, or left in my hands with a colour theme in mind, they come in 2 different sizes one with 12 'Titchystitchys' and one with just 4. I am also developing a line of little decorative birds and tiny boxes, which can be giftwrapped.
